3. Proposals

3.1. The Company secretary proposes that that we hold the AGM on-line on Saturday 21st November.

3.1.1 The Company secretary proposes that we make the AGM a one day event re-running the proposals from Autscape which were recorded.

3.1.2. The Company secretary proposes that the AGM is free to members and people who attended the live Autscape in August 2026 but we charge £5 for others.

3.2. The Company secretary proposes that we run an on-line Autscape over the weekend of Feb 5th/6th and 7th.

3.3. The chair of fundraising sub committee proposes that propose we add the Ben Delo Foundation to our list of organisations that the Fundraising Subcommittee is allowed to request donations from.

Rational: Autistic philanthropist Ben Delo came to my attention two weeks ago, when he made headlines by donating 36 million pounds to Reform UK.

His philanthropic foundation's website is here: https://delo.org/
According to the website, Delo's philanthropy focuses on four areas, one of which is neurodiversity. The website says:

'Neurodiversity and young people with autism

Recognising that some of the greatest minds need to be given the space and environment to succeed, Ben also believes it is critical that neurodiversity is better understood, and that neurodiverse people are championed. He supports causes which recognise that diversity in the way that people think – and how they interpret and share their perspectives – needs to be seen as an asset to be nurtured, not a disability to be managed.'

Some Autscape participants seem outright hostile towards anyone who holds right-wing political views. The Autscape Organisation itself is apolitical, though. So we shouldn't rule out receiving donations from the Ben Delo Foundation, I believe.

3.4. Elaine proposes that we select the following theme for on-line Autscape 2027

Expanding neurodiversity in society

3.5. Elaine proposes that we select the following theme for Autscape 2027

Modern autism in context
