There will be three meals per day provided for people staying on-site. If you stay off-site lunch and supper will be provided.
Most special diets (e.g. nuts, seafood, dairy and gluten free diets as well as vegetarian, vegan, and diabetic diets) can be
catered for but we must know about your special diet by 19 June 2008, as the venue need the information in good time. Please note, however, if you require a particularly restrictive or
complicated diet, you may need to cater for yourself, for which a limited facility is available. Meals are served cafeteria-style,
with a queue and servers, in a communal dining hall, but once you have your meal you may take it to your room or out to the garden if you find a full room difficult.
Self catering is only available who need it for medical reasons. However the
houses do contain mini kitchens for snack preparation.
There will be coffee breaks in the afternoon and morning between presentations.
These will be held in the dining hall. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be
provided.
Both houses have mini kitchens containing a hob, kettle, microwave and toaster. If you would like to use these
kitchens for snacks you must bring all your own cutlery, cups, plates etc. One of the houses also has an oven.
Both houses also have small fridges. Self-caterers will have priority use of these.
There is a village shop about 8 minutes walk from the houses. This has a selection of foods and drinks.
There are no food vending machines on site.
All the tap water is drinkable. Filtered water is available in the houses.
There may be a soft drinks vending machine available. The village shop will be able to provide a selection of
soft drinks. There are also two pubs in the village. One, which also serves meals under ten minutes walk from
the venue.
