Bedrooms

• Most of the bedrooms are twins (2 people). There are also some single and some three and four people rooms. To match people with room-mates we will ask you to fill in a room-mate questionaire. If there are people you would prefer to share with you will have the opportunity to mention them in the questionarire.
• A limited number of single rooms are available for a £20 supplement. If you have a medical reason for needing one you will be refunded the supplement, however we may ask for evidence of need, eg a doctor's letter. Please tell us if you have a medical reason at the time of booking. If we run out of single rooms, some applicants will be asked to share. In this case we will refund your £20 supplement. You may also be asked to fill in the room-mate questionaire.
• If you would like to use a locker for personal belongings, please bring your own padlock and key. We cannot guarantee that every bedroom will have a corresponding free locker, it depends on how the pupil whose term time room it is has left it.
• All bedrooms contain a washbasin; some of the larger bedrooms contain two. The cold tap provides drinkable water.
• Most bedrooms have fluorescent lights. None of the bedrooms have bedside lights. If you will need a bedside light, you will need to bring your own or a torch. While each room has a desk, the desks are not necessarily beside the beds.
• Potential Issues
  • There are no lifts in the boarding houses, if this means you'd prefer a ground floor room and you did not tell us so at registration please email the Autscape Registrar by 19 June.
  • If you must bring your meals to your room, please let the the Autscape Registrar know by 19 June. Be aware that this will mean walking outside with your tray. Information about the dining area can be found on the dining page.

Bathrooms

• There are no en-suite facilities this year. There are both showers and baths. Mainly showers. As mentioned above all bedrooms contain a washbasin.
• Potential issue
  • If you find it difficult to share bathroom facilities with strangers, plese let the the Autscape Registrar know preferably by 19 June. We may be able to limit the number of people you share with under certain circumstances.
